A manufacturing company should produce\ngoods that are of an excellent quality for customer satisfaction, and in order\nto remain competitive and relevant in today\u2019s society. It is also important for\na healthcare facility to develop and implement a culture of quality, where\ncaregivers are committed to operating with the required level of\nprofessionalism, in the provision of safe and quality patient care.  Thus, it is expected that workers will maintain\ncertain code of conduct and behavior, maintain integrity and ethical values in\nthe daily execution of duties. Management need to determine the appropriate\ntools that should be used in the development of an organizational culture of\nquality.  The onus is on management to\ndetermine the component of intellectual capital that is necessary to help in\nthe achievement of organizational objectives and goal. Intellectual capital\nrelates to the way an organization utilizes its expertise, innovation and\nstrategies to optimize operational processes for organization performance. One\nway this can be done is through its workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workforce development in an organization should have a high priority, as in order to achieve quality management, there is the need for competent and efficient staff. In the hiring process, it is important for management to hire employees who are highly skilled, have academic knowledge, demon state critical thinking and problem-solving competency. The work ethics of employees is also important, as workers who are committed to organizational achievements are key to achieving organizational success. In my role as a manager, I work with the resource manager to interview, identify and hire individuals who seem to possess the necessary knowledge and skills which is required to create a competent workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
