In the execution of my managerial responsibilities, innovative initiative for the environment and the workplace is centered around the concept of quality assurance, with focus on continuous improvement in a dialyis outpatient facility. Continuous improvement strategies include formulating, implementing, and modifying tactics used in the provision of health care services to patients. The environment or culture within the workplace should ideally be one which encourages employees’ engagement in working for the best interest of an organization in ensuring that it fulfill its mission. Patients’ satisfaction is of paramount importance as each facility seeks to achieve its objectives and goals. The continued viability of an organization is determined by its performance and ability to attract, sustain and maintain patients who access the services that are provided. Some deciding factors that are determinants of patients’ satisfaction include quality and safe services, support provided by management and other care providers, reliability of the services provided and support services.
